This reinterpretation of 'Nishi Raat Banka Chand' holds its roots in the classic Bengali film "Prithibi Amare Chaay," released in 1957. The original rendition, performed by the legendary Geeta Dutt has music composed by Nachiketa Ghosh and lyrics penned by Pronab Roy. The original movie ‘Prithibi Amare Chaay’ was directed by Niren Lahiri and featured the actors Asitbaran, Gangapada Basu, Chhabi Biswas, Bularani and many more.
