Lissy Lakshmi celebrates Onam with her children. The Onam festivities have officially begun. Today (Aug 28) signifies the ninth day, known as Uthradam, in the sequence of Onam festivities. This also indicates that only one day remains until Thiruvonam, signifying that the festivities have reached their pinnacle. Uthradam holds a huge significance, as it is when people go for a last-minute grocery run, and make all the preparations ahead of Thiruvonam.
