Lijo Jose Pellissery thanks his audience for ‘constant support’

Malayali director Lijo Jose Pellissery’s movies are now the talk of the town and it’s little wonder that the filmmaker clinched the award for the Best Director for his film Ee Ma Yau at the 66th Filmfare Awards South held at Chennai on December 21, 2019.
The filmmaker thanked the jury as well as the audience for the constant support, and also made a special mention of Vinayakan, who won the Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his role in Lijo’s directorial, Ee Ma Yau.
Lijo was nominated in the category along with Mollywood filmmakers such as Zakariya (Sudani from Nigeria), M Padmakumar (Joseph), Anjali Menon (Koode) and Madhupal (Oru Kuprasidha Payyan).
