The Shakun Batra’s directorial is receiving mixed reviews from the audience and seems like the film has won the heart of acclaimed director Lijo Jose Pellissery as well!

Shakun Batra’s directorial ‘Gehraiyaan’ deals with infidelity. Deepika Padukone plays the role of Alisha and Siddhant Chaturvedi essays the character Zain. The film dives deep into their complex relationship and the choices they make in love and life. The movie also created a lot of buzz for its intimate scenes. And the movie is continuing to garner the attention of movie buffs.
Meanwhile, Lijo Jose Pellissery, who is best known for his films ‘Ee. Ma.Yau.’, ‘Jallikattu’, and ‘Churuli’ is currently working on his next titled ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’. The film features Mammooty in the lead role. Actress Ramya Pandian has roped in to play the leading lady in the film. The team has wrapped up the shoot a while ago and the film is reportedly under post-production. The upcoming film also marks Mammootty’s first collaboration with the ace director.
