#Lifeinthelockdown: Veeran and me got stuck in Wayanad on the way to Ladakh, says Akshay Radhakrishnan

Pathinettam Padi actor Akshay Radhakrishnan and his constant companion, his pet dog Veeran, were on their way for a months-long bike trip to Ladakh, when the lockdown was suddenly announced. The duo, who had reached Wayanad from where they wanted to head to Bengaluru, is now staying a friend’s place in the district and making the most of their time together.
Akshay has been watching movies to kill time and like anyone can guess, his has been feasting more on dog-themed movies! “During the lockdown, I watched films like A Dog Purpose, The Call of the Wild, Togo, Train to Busan, Peanut Butter Falcon, A Dog’s Way Home, and the like.And so that Veeran’s energy is spent maximum, we also run around and play catch-and-run games.” The actor has been challenging himself too in terms of fitness. “I am trying to master about six varieties of push-ups and do more of ground exercises,” says Akshay.
He is yet to finish the shoot of his latest film Velleppam.
