After her share of cameos in tinsel town, actress Leona Leshoy is ready to play the central character. She will play Fathima, a traditional Muslim girl in Nishad Ravuthars directorial debut, One and Only. Fathima possesses those qualities which are missing in todays women, says the director. The film, that spans across a time period of twelve hours, follows the journey of six friends five men and a woman.
During their journey, they see the lives of those people who are sidelined by the society. The movie discusses life and relationships at large, he says.
However, the director is quick to add that the film is purely commercial. Its not a new generation film; itll appeal to all generations. Though its a romance, it portrays reality in the framework of romance, he adds.
The five men will be played by debutants.
One and Only will start rolling this month.
