Nedumudi Venu takes on the role of Ganapathi Ayyar, the doting grandfather, while Anjali Krishna portrays the character of Meenakshi, the beloved granddaughter, in this heartwarming drama.
'Kopam' is expected to be a touching testament to his illustrious acting career, offering audiences an emotional and heartfelt cinematic experience that highlights the magnificent acting talent of the legendary actor Nedumudi Venu.
'Kopam' features an ensemble cast that includes Aalif Shah, Alan Basleena, Sajan Druv, Shyam Namboothiri, Vidhya Vishwanath, David John, Sangeeth Chikku, and Vinod, each contributing significantly to the emotional depth of the story.
Behind the scenes, Roy Sai Aattingal handles the cinematography, and Sharan GD is in charge of the editing department. The film's songs, with lyrics by Saji Sreevalsam, are composed by Rajesh Vijay and sung by Manjari, Chandana Rajesh, and Rajesh Vijay.
Nedumudi Venu's last appearance on the big screen was in the Mammootty-starrer action flick 'Bheeshma Parvam,' directed by Amal Neerad. The actor played a dark-skinned character in ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ along with the veteran late actress KPAC Lalitha.
Meanwhile, Nedumudi Venu also got much adulation for his stunning performance in the 2022 release drama film ‘Puzhu’ starring Mammootty in the lead and directed by the debutant Ratheena.
