Star kids following their parents' footsteps are nothing new in tinseltown. The latest entrant is none other than Lal Jr - Jean Paul Lal - son of director-turned-actor Lal. The youngster will soon make his directorial debut with Honeybee.
Interestingly, Lal will not only play the villain's role in this movie but is also scripting for his son's debut. 'It's a huge honour for me to have my dad scripting my debut venture.

It's also huge responsibility on me,' says Jean, and adds that the scripting is halfway through and he is hoping to begin the shoot by November.
So, will he mind if his dad interferes in his work as well? 'I guess, he's a director's actor. He doesn't interfere in a director's creative freedom,' says Jean.
Honeybee will have Asif Ali, Bhavana, Vinayakan, Fahadh Faasil, Biju Menon, Baburaj and Manoj K Jayan doing prominent roles.
Jean says it's going to be a romantic comedy with a thriller element added to it. 'The story revolves around four friends and its treatment is going to be unique,' says Jean, who has worked with Lal in his last four outings.
