‘Lalitham Sundharam’ title launch

Manju Warrier's brother and actor, Madhu Warrier released the title poster of his movie this week. Titled 'Lalitham Sundharam', the poster was launched by M-Town's Big M's Mohanlal and Mammootty. Starring Manju Warrier and Biju Menon, the movie will soon go on floors. The movie also marks the collaboration of the duo after two decades. P Sukumaran will crank the lens for the film while Pramod Mohan will be crafting the screenplay. Bijibal is in charge of the music department.

Varane Avashyamund

' gets great reviews

Anoop Sathyan's directorial debut 'Varane Avashyamund' opened to positive reviews. Starring Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Dulquer Salmaan, and Kalyani Priyadarshan the movie received a positive response from the audience. Shobana and Suresh Gopi's comeback came as a delight for the audience while Kalyani's Mollywood debut also entertained them. The family entertainer surely grabbed the attention of all kinds of audiences.

'Tsunami' launched

Jean Paul Lal's next directorial 'Tsunami' was launched this week. The movie was kickstarted with a puja function. Balu Varghese will be essaying the lead in ‘Tsunami’, while actors Innocent, Mukesh, Aju Varghese, and Suresh Krishna will be seen handling pivotal roles. Jean’s father actor-director-screenwriter Lal is crafting the script for ‘Tsunami’. The movie will be bankrolled by Allan Antony under the banner of Panda Dad Productions.

'Ullasam' first look poster

Makers of Shane Nigam's upcoming movie 'Ullasam' released the first look poster this week. Shane appeared in a charming avatar in the poster. Directed by debutant Jeevan Jojo, the movie is bankrolled by Joe Kaithamattom and Christi Kaithamattom under the banner of Kaithamattom Brothers. Praveen Balakrishnan has crafted the screenplay for the movie while John Kutty is the editor. Shaan Rahmaan has been roped in as the music director. The movie is expected to hit the screens in a while.

'Trance' gets a new release date

The most awaited movie of the year, 'Trance' was scheduled to release on Valentine's Day, but the release date got pushed further. As per the sources, the Central Board of Film Certification, Trivandrum was a bit reluctant about a sequence in the movie and suggested cuts. However, the makers weren't happy about it and the movie was sent to the revising committee in Mumbai. And finally, without a single cut, the movie was given a U/A certificate. But following this, the makers announced that they have planned to release the movie on February 20 now.
