Lal Jose shares a throwback picture from the ‘Classmates’ days

Sharing the picture for his fans, Lal Jose wrote, “With James Albert and Rajeeve Ravi. Classmates location ♥️.” Meanwhile the 2006 release 'Classmates' is one of the best campus dramas made in Malayalam cinema till date. The movie had actors Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kavya Madhavan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Narain, and Jayasurya essaying the leads. A bunch of friends coming back to their college, for a reunion after years and recollecting their stories forms the crux of the movie. The film showcased the emotions of love, loss, betrayal, tiff, and a lot more that happens during college days. The movie is an engaging watch even after one and a half decades of its release.

He is best known for his movies 'Chandranudikkunna Dikkil', 'Meesa Madhavan', 'Chanthupottu', 'Achanurangatha Veedu', 'Classmates', 'Diamond Necklace' and 'Ayalum Njanum Thammmil' among others. On the work front, his recent directorial was ‘Nalpathiyonnu’, starring Biju Menon and Nimisha Sajayan. A socio-political satire, the movie spoke about an atheist believer going to Sabarimala pilgrimage with his friend.
