Director Lal Jose, who has until now scored from behind the camera, is all set to try his luck as an actor. He���ll feature in an ad campaign to spread awareness on the scarcity of water in the state. The ad is being shot for the Government of Kerala Communication and Capacity Development Unit. The director says he took the leap quite unprepared. ���Two people approached me asking me if I could be a part of the ad. I immediately gave my nod thinking I just had to give a byte. They had also told me that it would be shot with Bharathapuzha as the backdrop. But I didn���t realise the seriousness of the shoot until the camera started rolling and I had to deliver the dialogues like an actor,��� he recalls.
The ad campaign will focus on the importance of rain water harvesting. ���Water scarcity is a serious issue and I hope it sends out a good message to the masses,��� he signs off.
