Mollywood actors Lal and Anagha Narayanan will be seen together in the upcoming movie ‘Dear Vaappi’ and according to the latest updates, the movie started rolling on September 16, Friday.

Renowned music composer Kailas Menon, who composes the music in ‘Dear Vaappi’, took to his official Instagram handle to unveil the latest poster from the movie. Sharing the poster, the ‘Vaashi’ music composer penned a note that read, “‘Dear Vaappi’ starts rolling.”
Previously in an exclusive interview with ETimes, the music composer Kailas Menon revealed that the story of ‘Dear Vaappi’ is set in Malabar and he will be composing 5 different songs in the movie. He also exclusively said that one of the songs in the film has a Malabar touch to it and another one is a Sufi-style song. Kailas Menon recently composed the music for the Asif Ali starrer political thriller ‘Kotthu’ which was directed by Sibi Malayil.
Helmed by the director Shan Thulasidharan, S Pandikumar will be cranking the lens for the movie and the editing section will be handled by Lijo Paul. M Raja Krishnan is roped in as the sound designer and Ajay Mangad is the art director. Kailas Menon will be composing the songs in ‘Dear Vaappi’ and the lyrics will be penned down by BK Harinarayanan and Manu Manjith.
Actors Anagha Narayanan and Lal will be playing the lead roles in ‘Dear Vaappi’ and a father character named Basheer and his model daughter Amira. According to the reports, the makers are planning to shoot the movie in Thalassery, Mahe, Mumbai, and Mysore.
