‘Kuruthi’ teaser: Prithviraj Sukumaran impresses in this edgy revenge thriller

Prithviraj Sukumaran was thrilled to unveil the teaser of his next offering, ‘Kuruthi’, on Saturday. This film is Prithviraj's maiden solo production venture under his newly launched home production banner Prithviraj Productions. “Here is a glimpse into our first solo home production. I’m so proud to have been part of this film..both in front and behind the camera,” Prithviraj Sukumaran shared on Twitter while launching the teaser.
'Kuruthi' teaser opens with the visual of mature hands exchanging a deadly knife to the young. It also gives a glimpse of the reason behind the rage and hatred of the protagonist. Following that one can hear Mammukkoya’s character narrating a story to Roshan Mathew and Srindaa. “A spark of hate is all you need to ignite a raging fire. As the fire rages, we keep hating to make sure it never dies. In the end, we fool ourselves into believing we have won, instead, burn to death in the very same fire,” the narration goes on. And it is followed by a series of events, which visualize the quest for revenge.
The teaser of ‘Kuruthi’ is packed with intriguing moments and pulls the audience into the story and towards the end of it leaves them wanting for more. The teaser undeniably suggests that 'Kuruthi' will be an edge-of-your-seat thriller, immersed in revenge!

Directed by Manu Warrier, ‘Kuruthi’ is scripted by Anish Pallyal. Prithviraj Sukumaran is essaying the lead character in the film while, actors Murali Gopy, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko, Srinda, Manikandan R Achari, Navas Vallikkunnu, Mammukkoya, Naslen, and Sagar Surya have been roped in to play some pivotal roles. The tagline of the film reads - ‘A vow to kill… an oath to protect!’ and it surely hints that ‘Kuruthi’ is going to be intense entertainer.
