Kunchacko Boban and Bobby-Sanjay to reunite for ‘Baby Girl’

Renowned producer Listin Stephen is set to reunite with the team Bobby and Sanjay after his debut hit ‘Traffic’ after 14 years. The film, titled ‘Baby Girl’, will star Kunchacko Boban in the lead role and is written by the acclaimed duo Bobby-Sanjay.


Directed by Arun Varma, who helmed the hit film Garudan (also produced by Listin Stephen and starring Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon), ‘Baby Girl’ is anticipated to be a thrilling cinematic experience.

With ‘Baby Girl’ and ‘Oru Durutha Sahajareekathil’, Listin Stephen is producing two films starring Kunchacko Boban at the same time.

Apart from Kunchacko Boban, the film will feature Lijo Mol, Sangeeth Prathap, and Abhimanyu Thilakan in pivotal roles. Details about the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed in upcoming updates.

Simultaneously, Kunchacko Boban is also working on Oru Durutha Sahajareekathil, directed by Ratheesh Poduval and co-produced by Listin Stephen, with its shoot currently underway in Wayanad. The PRO is Manju Gopinath.


Meanwhile, Kunchacko Boban’s previous outing was with Amal Neerad’s directorial ‘Bougainvillea’ and the movie has started streaming on OTT. ETimes gave a rating of 3.5 out of 5 for the thriller and our review reads, “The music by Sushin Shyam, including 'Sthuthi' in the end credits, the background score, and the sound effects, made the film an auditory treat. The visuals and frames, as earlier mentioned, were well thought out and presented, keeping it engaging throughout, especially when a good part of the film happens inside enclosed areas. Anend C. Chandran is the DOP of the film, while Vivek Harshan is the editor, both delivering commendable work. One major gripe with the otherwise captivating film is the climax. Almost the entirety of the second half felt like the climax. There were parts that would have worked much better if it was made crisper.”
