Kumbarees movie review highlights: A romantic thriller cum friendship tale

begins as a tale of friendship.

It revolves around two men, who try to settle down after getting a job. One of the protagonists is a youngster named Manu, and his story keeps you mostly engaged till the half way point of the film. In the first half, you see him getting trapped in a tricky situation, resulting in unexpected turn of events, which hints at interesting developments post intermission.

The movie’s story and the actors’ performance are decent till the half way point of the film. However, there are too many things going at certain points, which, at times, makes watching Kumbarees a less than pleasant experience.

The second half is expected to delve further into the friendship equations, how their lives shape up and more. But will they interest the audience? Watch this space.
