The day-wise Kerala box office collections for the Asif Ali starrer ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ have seen an upward momentum on day 21 with Rs 1.15 crore in the kitty.

According to the Sacnilk website, the Asif Ali starrer has minted Rs 65.25 crore worldwide in 21 days and the India Net collections for the film stand at Rs 36.75 crore, followed by the India Gross collections which amount to Rs 40 crore.

‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ has achieved a magnificent overseas business by collecting Rs 25.25 crore. Coming to the Kerala box office numbers, the movie has seen a day-wise growth on day 21 as it collected Rs 1.15 crore on the day which is higher when compared to the previous day where it minted Rs 90 lakhs.
Dinjith Ayyathan’s second directorial venture opened at the KBO with a magnificent Rs 4.25 crore and with positive reviews flooding in for the mystery thriller, the movie maintained its collections. With good reviews pouring in and no major competitions ahead, apart from ‘ARM’, it’s sure that ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ will have a good continued run in the cinemas.

The movie hit the big screens on September 12 along with Tovino Thomas’ ‘ARM’ and Antony Varghese’ sea action flick ‘Kondal’.
Starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali in the lead, ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ tells the story of strange events that happen in a monkey-inhabited village. A group of forest officials along with a newly-wedded pair decides to uncover the secret behind these unnatural happenings.
Meanwhile, Asif Ali's previous outing was the feel-good film 'Adios Amigo'.
