‘Khalifa’: Prithviraj Sukumaran announces his next film with director Vysakh

Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran who is celebrating his birthday today has announced his next project with the ace director Vysakh. The project is titled ‘Khalifa’ and comes with a tagline that reads, “Vengeance will be written in gold. “Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official Twitter handle to unveil the first look poster for ‘Khalifa’ and penned a note that read, “Vengeance will be written in GOLD! Announcing #KHALIFA! Directed by #Vysakh.” In the first look poster, Prithviraj Sukumaran is looking stylish and he is introduced with the term ‘Ruler’ hence the title ‘Khalifa’. The tagline posits that the film will be a revenge thriller and for all the right reasons the expectations for ‘Khalifa’ are really high among the audience.‘Khalifa’ is helmed by the ‘Pulimurugan’ director Vysakh and the script is penned down by Jinu V Abraham who is best known for the films ‘Kaduva’ and ‘Adam Joan’. Sathyan Sooryan is roped in as the cinematographer and the music will be composed by Jakes Bejoy. The editing section will be handled by Shameer Muhammed and the art department by Shajie Naduvil. Meanwhile, the makers of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Vilayath Buddha’ shared a special poster on the actor’s birthday and the poster featured Prithviraj Sukumaran as the character Double Mohanan. Prithviraj also has the movie ‘Gold’ directed by Alphonse Puthren, waiting for its release. On the other hand, director Vysakh’s mystery thriller movie ‘Monster’ will be hitting the big screens on October 21. The film has the actor Mohanlal playing the role of Lucky Singh.
