Director Khalid Rahman, who had last helmed Mammootty-starrer Unda, has begun work on his next film. On Monday morning at 9 am, the team of the film starring
Rajisha Vijayan and Shine Tom Chacko started shooting in a flat in Kundannoor, Kochi.
On the yet-to-be-titled film, Shine, who is shooting after almost three months, “It tells the story of a family and the various situations navigated by a husband and wife, played by Rajisha.” The movie also has Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha fame Veena Nandakumar, actors Sudhy Kopa, Johny Antony and Gokulan M S in major roles.
The shoot is proceeding, ensuring all safety guidelines, Shine explains. “There are very few people now on the set, just about 30 to 35 of us. Nobody else is permitted to come to the flat. We are all wearing gloves and masks, and temperature is checked before we enter the sets. Even food is served in individual, pre-packed packets rather than on plates. On and off, we are given sanitisers too.” The team plans to shoot at the current location for about 16 days, Shine adds.
