‘Khajuraaho Dreams’ teaser: A tale of friendship, and travel

Arjun Ashokan, Sharafudeen, Sreenath Bhasi, Aditi Ravi, and Dhruvan starrer ‘Khajuraaho Dreams’ is prepping for release, and the makers have launched the first teaser. The teaser gives a glimpse of the friendship between five friends, and a road trip they embark on.
Helmed by debutant Manoj Vasudev, ‘Khajuraaho Dreams’ is filmed at the Khajuraho temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district, and interestingly for the first time in a film.
The teaser was launched by Fahadh Faasil via his social media handle.

Written by Sethu of Sachi-Sethu duo, the film also has Bollywood actor Raj Arjun, Johnny Antony, Chandunath, Sohan Seenulal, Sadik, Varsha Viswanath, Naina Sarvar, and Raksha in some important roles. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the director said, “These five friends are chasing some romantic tales they’ve heard and bike from Kochi to Khajuraho. So it is a story of what happens on the journey and the things that unfold when they are in the village there.”

Manoj Vasudev also spoke about the challenges he faced to get permissions to shoot at the heritage site. “This site is under the archaeology department and even while we got permission with great difficulty, there were a lot of restrictions; we couldn’t do aerial shots or shoot throughout the temple complex, for example,” he divulged.
Gopi Sundar is composing the song for the film, and the lyrics have been penned by Harinarayanan. The cinematography is done by Pradeep Nair and the editing by Lijo Paul. Mohandas s in charge of the art department for the film.
