The 45th edition of the Kerala Film Critics Award was announced on Wednesday (Oct 19) by a jury headed by Dr George Onakkoor. ‘Aavasavyuham’ won the award for Best Film, and Martin Prakat bagged the best director (Nayattu) award.
Dulquer Salmaan bagged the award for Best Actor for his performances in the films ‘Kurup’ and ‘Salute’. Durga Krishna won the award for Best Actress for her acting chops in the film ‘Udal’. Veteran filmmaker Joshiy was honoured with the Chalachitra Ratnam award for lifetime achievement for his outstanding contribution to cinema. Superstar Suresh Gopy was felicitated with the Ruby Jubilee Award.
