Kavya to play mother of a 20-year-old!

Kavya Madhavan has never shied away from playing mother roles. After playing the mother of a six-year-old in Akashavani, the actress is all set to portray the mother of a 20-year-old in her upcoming film Ente Amma. As the title suggests, the film is based on a mother-son relationship.
Its director and scribe Anil Kunhappan says, “Kavya plays Rajanandini, a bold woman and mother from North Kerala.The movie portrays four phases of her life. Her hopes, dreams, aspirations and her relationship with her son form the plot. It is an intense and emotional story.”
The director, who happens to be Kavya’s cousin, has been working on this project for several years. “This is not an offbeat film, but a commercial entertainer. It is an extremely challenging role for Kavya as she appears as a 47-year-old in it,” says Anil. Apart from Kavya, Anu Mohan plays a key role. The other actors on board include Manoj K Jayan, Ganesh Kumar and Sreedevi Unni. The movie will go on the floors in July.
Meanwhile, Kavya’s much anticipated project, She Taxi, opposite Anoop Menon will hit the screens soon.
