’. Recently makers unveiled a first look poster for the film featuring Malavika Nair as the character Anu.

Actor- director Dileesh Pothan took to his official Facebook handle to unveil the first look poster for Malavika Nair starrer 'Karuna'. Sharing the poster, the ace actor- director penned a note that read, "Wishing the very best Roopesh, Vinod G Madhu, and the entire team for Karuna. Here's the first look poster."

Helmed by the director Roopesh, Malavika Nair will be playing the lead role in ‘Karuna’. The script of the film is penned down by the writers Roopesh, Manjush, and the cinematography will be handled by Vinod G Madhu.

Shyam Sasidharan

is roped in as the editor for ‘Karuna’ and the music department will be handled by Mohan Sithara.

Actress Malavika Nair got much recognition by playing Mammootty’s daughter character Malli in the film Karutha Pakshikal’ which was released in the year 2006. The film also won her the Kerala State Film Award for the year. The film also featured the actors Meena, Padmapriya, Jagathy Sreekumar, TG Ravi, Salim Kumar, and Narayanankutty.

Malavika has also played pivotal roles in the films ‘Yes Your Honour’, ‘Maya Bazar’, ‘Orkkuka Vallappozhum’, ‘Shikkar’, ‘Penpattanam’, and ‘Kandahar’. Her previous outing was with the Dileep starrer film ‘Georgettan’s Pooram’ which was directed by K Biju and was released in the year 2017.
