Karthika opts out Madha Gaja Raja

Karthika, who had agreed to play the female lead opposite Vishal in Sundar C���s Madha Gaja Raja, has now opted out of the film. While sources hint at the actress���s displeasure over the inclusion of a second heroine, her mother cites date problems as the reason for her walk out.
Karthika���s mother, actress Radha, who also manages her dates, says, ���The script of the film had undergone several changes in the past.Vishal was supposed to play triple roles initially and he had only one heroine ��� Karthika. But now, there are two heroines in the film, which is not a big deal, but Karthika���s portions aren���t as meaty. Moreover, the first schedule of the film has now been postponed, and Vishal will start shooting for the film only after he completes his movie with Trisha. Karthika is not in a position to block a chunk of her dates for this film as of now.���
She further adds, ���We explained our situation to Sundar C, and he gracefully relieved her from the project. We parted on amicable terms, and she will surely do a film with Sundar in the future.���
Meanwhile, a source close to the director tells us, ���Vishal returned to Chennai last night, and Sundar will have a meeting with him today. They haven���t approached anyone else for the female leads as of now.���
