Karthika Nair begins filming her Kannada debut

Actress Karthika Nair, a familiar face in Mollywood, Tollywood and Kollywood, is officially completing her south run with her Kannada debut, the shoot of which started in Bangalore today. Needless to say, the actress is all excited.
Karthika, who's paired opposite Sandalwood star Darshan, says, "This is a remake of the Telugu film Brindavanam, starring Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. And Darshan and I will reprise their parts respectively in the Kannada version."" The actress is also upbeat about starring in the remake of a Junior NTR film, for, she says that over the years, all his remakes have been super hits.Besides Bangalore, the film has its shoot scheduled in Brazil and Iceland as well. ""It's a family entertainer which will speak volumes about love and family ties," says Karthika.
