'Kantara' actor Rishab Shetty channels Mohanlal; Delights Lalettan fans with classic dialogue - 'Entha mone...'

Kannada actor-director Rishab Shetty, riding high on the success of his film 'Kantara Chapter 1', recently made headlines with a memorable appearance on apopular quiz showhosted by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

Rishab recreated Mohanlal’s signature style by stepping onto the stage in a black shirt and a mundu, tying the dhothi just like the Malayalam superstar.






During the Kaun Banega Crorepati show, the 'Kantara' actor even delivered Mohanlal’s legendary dialogue from the 2000 film 'Narasimham', “Entha mone Dineshaa…”

The performance drew applause from both the audience and viewers. One fan commented, "Assemble the fan boy." A personal connection with Mohanlal

Speaking earlier at a press meet in Kochi during the promotions of 'Kantara Chapter 1', Rishab opened up about his deep connection with the Malayalam superstar. He said, “When I see Lalettan, it feels like meeting someone from my own hometown. It’s like seeing my uncle. That’s the kind of emotional connection I have with him.”

Rishab admitted that he watches all of Mohanlal’s films and considers him a figure close to his heart. He fondly recalled the moment Mohanlal was awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, sharing how he immediately congratulated the actor on social media with a photo taken at Kollur Mookambika.

While Rishab’s all-time favorite in Kannada cinema remains Dr. Rajkumar, he says Mohanlal holds a special place in his life. He added that Lalettan feels like “one of our own people.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Mohanlal was last seen in the Sathyan Anthikad's directorial feel good drama film 'Thudarum' which turned out to be a superhit.
