Kaniha to play Mammootty’s heroine again?

will apparently have actress Kaniha teaming up with the megastar once again.

The film, helmed by Shaji Padoor and scripted by The Great Father director Haneef Adeni, is scheduled to go on floors on January 1, 2018 in Ernakulam. Mammootty will be seen in the role of a police officer in the movie.

Mammootty and Kaniha had earlier teamed up for films such as Pazhassiraja, Bavuttyude Naamathil, Cobra and Drona. The megastar, meanwhile, has four big releases coming up on the first quarter of the year – Streetlights, Peranbu, Parole and Uncle. The first two are Tamil-Malayalam bilinguals.
