Kirukkan
’ which is written and directed by the debutant director Josh. The shoot for the film is currently undergoing in Vadakkanchery, Kerala. As per the reports, the core story of the film is based on true events that happened in the Kottayam district. The core story is written by actor Chemban Vinod Jose’s brother Ullas Chemban. Vijayaraghavan, Maqbool Salmaan,
Johny Antony, Anarkali Marikar etc. Actress Kani Kusruthi will be playing the major lead role in the film. Gowtham Lenin will be the cinematographer of the film and the editing section will be handled by Rohith V.S. Music of ‘Kirukkan’ is composed by Manikandan Ayyappa.

The film ‘Kirukkan’ comes with a tagline that says:” Police station is not a dreadful place as you think of it to be”. The story of ‘Kirukkan’ revolves around the mysterious suicide of a young girl in Kottayam district and a group of police inspectors investigating the case.
The Film is categorized as a complete edge-of-the-seat thriller and major portions of the film happen in a single police station itself. Actress Kani Kusruthi has appeared in several prominent roles in Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi, and even in Hindi films. The actress recently appeared in the Malayalam drama film ‘Biriyaani’ and earned much praise from the audience for her role in the films as the character named ‘Khadeeja’ and the film was written and directed by Sajin Baabu.
