'The filming of my debut, Kuttysranku, and Netholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla were entirely different experiences in my career. I was all in awe of Mammootty Sir when I worked with him in Kuttysranku, given the huge volume of films in his career and his standing as a great actor.

But when I signed on Netholi', little did I know how versatile an actor Fahadh is,' says Kamalinee. 'He is such an intense actor, totally at ease with the duality in the roles he plays in the film.'
As for her role in the film, the actress says, 'My character, Prabha Thomas, is the woman of today and is quite a handful! Though, it looks like she's more at war with the world. It's not just my character; the film and its concept are all hatke.'
A month after the film's release, Kamalinee will commence work on her second film in Bengali. 'The film will be made by one of the executive producers of Kahaani,' she says. While the actress is said to have a major role in Netholi' going to be remade in Bollywood, Kamalinee says, 'I've no clue about its current status. All I did was connect VKP and Bejoy Nambiar since I knew both of them. I'm yet to know what's up with the remake,' she signs off.
