Popular Mollywood filmmaker Priyadarshan’s son Siddharth Priyadarshan tied the knot in Chennai on the last day (February 3, 2023). Kalyani Priyadarshan’s brother was married to Merlin who is an American citizen and visual effects producer.

Meanwhile, Siddharth has worked in the VFX department of Priyadarshan’s recent outing ‘Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea’ starring Mohanlal in the lead as the titular character.
On the other hand, Kalyani Priyadarshan is on a success path as most of her recent outings ‘Hridayam’ and ‘Thallumaala’ turned out to be box office hits. ‘Hridayam’ was directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan and ‘Thallumaala’ by Khalid Rahman starring Tovino Thomas in the lead.
Priyadarshan’s previous outing was with the epic drama movie ‘Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea’ which unfortunately didn't do any wonders at the box office. Due to a lousy screenplay that lacked emotions and poor performances, the movie didn't find its liking among movie buffs and turned out to be one of the disappointing movies of Mohanlal for the year 2022.
Priyadarshan’s next outing is with the actors Shane Nigam and Shine Tom Chacko for the movie ‘Corona Papers’. The ace filmmaker also has the movie ‘Appatha’ in the pipeline.
