Kalyani Priyadarshan pens a gratitude note as ‘Varane Avashyamund’ rings one

was released on February 7, 2020, and today marks the first year of its release. Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan has marked the special occasion with a moving note. The diva marked her debut in Malayalam with the film and it is much special for her. Daughter of filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, Kalyani’s Mollywood entry was much anticipated amongst the cinephiles.

Kalyani Priyadarshan said that she is very proud to have ‘Varane Avashyamund’ as her Malayalam debut. “You never forget the first time you're accepted and welcomed wholeheartedly into a world you've always dreamed of being a part of. Thank You @dqsalmaan @anoop.sathyan @dqswayfarerfilms for allowing me to proudly say this film was my debut into the Malayalam industry,” she said, in her Instagram story.

Kalyani Priyadarshan played one of the leading roles in the film. She played Nikhita, who is insistent about getting married and that too only by proper arranged means. Shobana played the role of Nikhita’s mom in the film and the duo’s combination won hearts.

Meanwhile, ‘Varane Avashyamund’ is directed by Anoop Sathyan. Kalyani Priyadarshan co-starred with Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Urvasi, KPAC Lalitha, and Dulquer Salmaan in the film. On the work front, Kalyani Priyadarshan was recently filming for 'Hridhayam'. Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, ‘Hridhayam’ will feature Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles.
