Being the daughter of Mollywood’s popular director Priyadarshan, Kalyani’s debut was a much-anticipated one. Although the actress made her showbiz debut in Telugu earlier, M-Town audience is now happy as the gorgeous actress has finally claimed her place in Mollywood with ‘Varane Avashyamund’.Kalyani, who occasionally posts something or the other on her social media handle, recently shared a couple of pictures of her wearing typical Kerala attire. Kalyani has transformed into a complete Malayali girl (Malayali Manka) in a kasavu detailed lehenga. The adorable actress personifies elegance as she stuns in a striped Kasavu lehenga. Accessorising with the traditional green crystal bangles and jumkhas, the diva completed the look with a touch of roses and jasmine flowers in her messy bun. With kohled eyes and a bindi, Kalyani’s pictures are a treat to her fans!


Daughter of director Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, Kalyani marked her acting debut with the Telugu movie 'Hello'. Following a couple of movies in Telugu, the diva recently made her Tamil debut with the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer 'Hero'. After that, she made her Mollywood debut with the multi-starrer ‘Varane Avashyamund’. She has worked alongside Shobana, Suresh Gopi and Dulquer Salmaan in the film. Kalyani has also shot for her dad's movie, 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham', in which she is expected to be playing a cameo. The movie is yet to be released. She is currently working on 'Hridhayam', an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. Kalyani will be co-starring with Pranav Mohanlal in the venture.
