Kalyani Priyadarshan completes the first schedule of ‘Shesham Mike-il Fathima’

Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer ‘Shesham Mike-il Fathima’ has gone into a schedule break. The makers have completed the first schedule, and Kalyani Priyadarshan has confirmed that 40 percent of the film has been shot.

“First Schedule Done! Forty percent done! Can’t wait to finish up the rest and show you guys! It’s been a crazy ride so far but we are super excited by the results and can’t wait for you guys to watch it all put together ♥️,” Kalyani Priyadarshan said, sharing a BTS video from the sets.

Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, ‘Sesham Mike-il Fathima’ is helmed by Manu C Kumar. Speaking to Kochi Times, the director said, “This is a fun, chill story about a young woman who is a football announcer in Malappuram. It is not a sports story; the game just forms the backdrop for Fathima's story. The leading male character, played by Shaheen Siddique, is almost an extended cameo."

Kalyani Priyadarshan who is playing Fathima, too shared that the film is a fun entertainer. “There’s a new Paathu in town… and I can’t wait for you to meet her! You guys have shown me nothing but kindness and love and I hope you shower us with the same for this one. It’ll be a fun story I promise ��. Joining together with some dear friends and new ones for this and we hope to have all your blessings… SESHAM MIKE-IL FATHIMA!” she said, while announcing the film. The actress also took lessons to perfect the Malappuram dialect for the film.
