Backpackers
' with National award-winning filmmaker
Jayaraj. The makers have now unveiled a teaser from the movie which suggests that the plot is about a couple who are spending their last days of life and eagerly ticking off items on their bucket list. The teaser shows the young duo in a bald avatar presumably after some treatment for an illness.

Touted to be based on a true story, the movie is expected to portray the inseparable bond between the couple.
Dr.Suresh Kumar Muttath is bankrolling the project under the banner of Prakriti pictures. Abinandhan Ramanujam has cranked the lens. The team has filmed a few schedules in Kottayam and newbie Karthika Nair is essaying the female lead. C R Sreejith has managed the edits.
Apart from ‘Backpackers’, Kalidas Jayaram, who was last seen in 'Happy Sardar', has also worked with ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan for his directorial 'Jack and Jill'. The movie is yet to release.
