Kalabhavan Shajohn opens up on Dileep issue

Among those who visited Dileep while he was in the Aluva Sub Jail was actor Kalabhavan Shajohn. The actor and mimicry artist had also stated once that Dileep had never tried to oust him from films, as reported, but has only helped him.

Now, Shajohn has opened up on the subject, saying that the decision to remove Dileep from

was a collective one. Ganesh Kumar had said earlier that it was Mammootty's decision to remove Dileep, and that he only did it to please Prithviraj. Neither Prithviraj nor Mammootty had commented on the issue but Remya Nambeesan had told us that what Ganesh said is untrue. Shajohn, a member of the executive committee, has now echoed her words, saying that the decision was indeed collective.

However, Shajohn also says that the decision now seems wrong. He has also said that the Women in Cinema Collective should look at the issues of all women in cinema, and not just a few.
