The Hakim Shajahan starrer ‘Kadakan’ has a new release. The film has faced a slight delay. Originally scheduled to hit the big screens in February, 'Kadakan' will now be making its theatrical debut on March 1.
The decision to postpone the release was made for reasons undisclosed; however, there are chances that the successful run of the recent releases ‘Premalu’, ‘Bramayugam’, and ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’, and the spat between FEUOK and KFPA, might have influenced the team. The makers of ‘Kadakan’, via a social media post, have confirmed that the film will hit the big screens on March 1.
Starring Hakim Shajahan in the lead role, 'Kadakan' has generated significant buzz due to its recently released trailer. An actioner, the film was censored with a UA certificate. The film is directed by debutant Sajil Mampad and scripted by Bodhi and Sasi Kumar Mampad.
‘Kadakan’ also has actors Ranjith, Sarath Sabha, Fahiz Bin Rifai, Nirmal Palazhi, Sona Olickal, Harisree Asokan, Jaffar Idukki, Manikandan R Achari, Sinoj Varghese, Pradeep Balan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Poojappura Radhakrishnan, Geethi Sangeetha, Meenakshi Raveendran, and Bibin Perumpilly in supporting roles.
On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Jazin Jaseel, and the editing is done by Shameer Muhammed. The music and the BGM for the film are composed by Gopi Sundar.
