‘Kaalachekon’ movie is about the sport of bull-running

The film will have Dr Gireesh Njanadas as the male lead. The project, that also aims to tell the story of the region and people involved in the sport, will have Devan, Bheeman Raghu, Sidhique, Hareesh Kanaran, Bijukuttan, Sai Kumar, Harisree Ashokan, Mamukkoya, Geetha Vijayan, Kulappulli Leela, Nilamboor Ayesha, Kozhikkode Sreedevi, Mujeeeb Rahman, Unni Perinthalmanna and more as part of the cast. A newbie actor, Sunil Paathaakkara, would play the villain’s role in the movie.

The film delves into the tradition of

bull running

after the 1950s, and it will have four songs. It also has songs by renowned singers P Jayachandran, Sithara Krishnakumar, the film’s lead actor Gireesh Njanadas and Bheeman Raghu, who plays a prominent role in the film.

The makers say that the film, which will soon be going on floors, will be shot following the Covid – 19 protocols issued by the government. The movie will have Mannarcaud, Vallappuzha, Ottappalam, Kollamkode and more as its shooting locations. T S Babu is the cinematographer of the movie, and it has Thyagarajan master on action choreography.
