Ka Bodyscapes banned from IFFK?

Jayan Cherian's film on homosexual love,

, might very well be banned from the International Film Festival of Kerala this year. The

Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry

has denied permission for the film, on the grounds that the film has not been passed by the censors.

Earlier, after the

Censor Board

refused to clear the film, the makers had taken it to the High Court who ruled in favour of the film. However, the verdict apparently doesn't apply to film festivals.
