Jyothi Krishna presents a Navratri special dance piece

Jyothi has been mostly away from film industry after her wedding in the year 2017. Recently, the actress posted a video of her dancing to the song ‘Alai Paayuthe,’ on the occasion of Navratri. Dressed in a simple costume, Jyothi was seen swaying to the soulful music in a homely space, which is possibly her home courtyard or balcony, filled with flowers and plants.

It is in 2011 that Jyothi debuted in Malayalam film industry through the movie ‘Bombay March 12,’ which was directed by Babu Janardhanan, and had Mammootty, Roma and Unni Mukundan in major roles. Jyothi played a character named Maya in the film, which was a drama. Later, we have also seen her in movies like ‘Last Bench,’ ‘Orkut Oru Ormakoot,’ ‘God for Sale,’ ‘Ithu Pathiramanal,’ ‘Dolls,’ ‘Lisammayude Veedu,’ ‘Avicharitha,’ ‘Njan,’ ‘Life of Jostutty’ and ‘Moonam Naal Njyayrazhcha.’

A month ago, Jyothi had filed a police case with both Dubai and Kerala police against the fake news that her husband Arun Raja got arrested in the ongoing gold smuggling case. Jyothi had done an Instagram Live video, in which she reacted against the same and also showed her husband, who was with her in Dubai, during the same. Jyothi’s husband Arun is the brother of actress Radhika, who had famously played the character named Raziya in the Lal Jose film ‘Classmates.’
