As per recent reports, he visited Kochi Mayor

, requesting her to shoot in Subhash Park, for his upcoming movie. The mayor apparently denied him permission, as shooting isn't allowed anymore in the park. It's said that this enraged the director, who argued that the film has a good social message, which needs to be considered before taking the decision.

The mayor complained to the City Police Commissioner post the incident, which reportedly happened on Saturday.
