Joy Mathew: Rebels are branded as terrorists

Actor and director Joy Mathew has made a strong statement against the arrest of protestors at Sweet Meat Street (Midhai Theruvu),

A silent rally was taken out at the venue by protesters, in solidarity with the nuns. Joy Mathew was among those who presented themselves at the Kozhikode town police station. "The government is branding those who protested as terrorists. We will never dismiss the case by paying a fine. It was not known that Midhai Theruvu was a rally free zone,'' he said.
