Joy Mathew against awards jury

Joy Mathew has come out with criticism against the State Film Awards jury, terming them immature.

The jury is composed of a group of people who are out of touch with cinema, including the chairman. In order to recognise films with artistic value, experts should be included, he observed. The actor director also added that the jury considers only those who do full-length characters, ignoring those who act only in a few scenes but are worthy of awards.
