Fahadh Faasil seems to be on a mission to get his career back on track before he takes up more projects. The actor, who had a lean year in the box office, has apparently dropped out of
Joshiy’s project titled,
Single. A source close to the production says, “Fahadh informed us that he was taking a long break and would not be able to be part of the movie.” The news though has forced the director to shelve the entire project.
“Without Fahadh, it didn’t make sense to go ahead with the movie as getting another actor’s dates in the limited time is not possible,” says the source, adding that the shoot was scheduled to begin this month. Fahadh has Dileesh Pothen’s Maheshinte Prathikaaram and Abi Varghese’s Monsoon Mangoes lined up for release. His project Nale has 20 days of shoot left but will resume only after Sidharth Bharathan, who is recovering from a car accident, re-joins the sets.
For next year, the actor has committed for just one movie, which will be directed by Anwar Rasheed.
