Suresh Gopi took to his social media handle and said, “Joshiy, the master craftsman and creator starts calling for shots on March 5th. Suresh Gopi takes the call for shots on March 5th. Pala, Erattupetta, and Thodupuzha. #Paappan starts rolling (sic)!”

RJ Shaan is the screenwriter for ‘Paappan’. Ajay David Kachappilly, who has wielded the camera for Joshiy’s previous film ‘Porinju Mariyam Jose’, is the director of photography for the upcoming film. Shyam Sashidharan is in charge of the edits and Jakes Bejoy is composing the music for 'Paappan'. Vishnu Govind Sree Sankar is the sound designer for the film and Nimesh M Thanoor is the art director.
