Joshiy to direct a movie on Nambi Narayanan’s son

It was earlier reported that Mohanlal will play the role of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan in Witch Hunt, a biopic to be directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan.
Now, buzz is that director Joshiy is planning a movie on the scientist’s son.
If the makers are to be believed, the movie will revolve around Nambi Narayanan’s son, a reporter working with the visual media.“The movie is not about the scientist, but his son. His idealistic approach to certain issues and its consequences form the plot. The movie will throw light on the apathetic attitude of society towards some sensitive issues,” says Vinod Guruvayoor, the scriptwriter of the film. He adds that the project will also throw light on the trauma and agony of the scientist, who was falsely charged in the 1994 espionage case.
“The film will be a thriller. We have not finalised the cast yet,” says Vinod.
