Joju George’s maiden directorial ‘Pani’ gets a release date

Actor Joju George is turning a director with the upcoming film titled ‘Pani’.The film, written and directed by Joju George is set to hit the big screens soon. The makers of the film has confirmed that it will hit theatres on October 24, 2024. Besides Malayalam, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
Joju George himself if playing the lead role in ‘Pani’, while actress Abhinaya, who is hearing and speech impaired in real life, has roped in as the heroine.She has previously acted in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Joju George will be essaying the role of Giri in the film, while Abhinaya playing the leading lady Gauri. The film also has actors Seema, Chandhini Sreedharan, Abhaya Hiranmayi, Abhinaya, Babu Namboothiri, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shanker, Ranjith Velayudhan, and Bitto Davis, and over sixty debutants in supporting roles.
‘Pani’ is touted to be a mass revenge thriller. The film brings together top-tier talent from across the Indian film industry, including musicians Vishnu Vijay and Sam C.S., with cinematography by Venu ISC and Jinto George. The posters and a song from the film were released earlier this year, and it received decent response on social media.
