Actor Joju George starts shooting for his next film, titled ‘

Peace

,’ in Thodupuzha.

, Shalu Rahim, Vijilesh, Asha Sarath, Lena and Aditi Ravi as well, as part of its cast. The film’s story, script and dialogues are by Zafar Sanal and Ramesh Girija. Shameer Gibran is the cinematographer of the film, and Naufar Abdulla is the editor. Sreejith Odakkali is on art and music is by Jubair Muhammad.

Joju also has the Tamil film ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and also starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, coming up. Some of the other projects that he is part of are Mammootty starrer ‘One,’ Nivin Pauly – Rajeev Ravi film ‘Thuramukham,’ Mahesh Narayanan – Fahadh Faasil film ‘Malik,’ Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Churuli’ Domin D’Silva’s ‘Star,’ Akhil Marar’s ‘Oru Thatvika Avalokkanam,’ Martin Prakkat’s ‘Nayattu’ and Suresh Gopi’s 250th film ‘Ottakkomban.’

A few weeks ago, the actor’s kids had organized a ‘cinema’ themed birthday party for Joju. The birthday cake, in black and white birthday, was designed with pictures from Joju's most popular movie ‘Joseph’ and the actor was also seen quite overwhelmed by his kids’ love. His daughter greeted him with a card that reads, “Happy Birthday my Superstar Appa.” While his younger son kept it simple, and it reads, “Happy Birthday My Appa.” Joju celebrated the day along with his wife, three kids, and some other relatives.

Joju grabbed eyeballs after the release of his movie ‘Joseph’, in which he played the lead character. Joju played Joseph, a retired cop, who happens to be a part of the investigation team of his ex-wife’s murder.
