Jis Joy’s film starring Biju Menon and Asif Ali starts rolling in Thalassery

Actors Biju Menon and Asif Ali are reuniting for an upcoming thriller helmed by Jis Joy. The film went on floors on Monday (Apr 17) in Thalassery. The team kickstarted the film with a muhurat puja ceremony. Filmmaker Jis Joy, Biju Menon, Asif Ali’s wife, and kids among others were present at the switch-on ceremony.

The yet-to-be-titled film is a thriller. Biju Menon and Asif Ali have teamed up for several films including ‘Ordinary’, ‘Vellimoonga’, ‘Kavi Uddheshichathu’ and ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’, hence their upcoming collaboration is highly anticipated by the movie buffs. Biju Menon has shared that both he and Asif Ali will be seen in equally important roles in the upcoming film.

Actors Dileesh Pothan, Manoj K. U, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Anusree, Reenu Mathews, Kottayam Naseer, Dinesh of ‘Nayattu’ fame, Anuroop, Nandan Unni and Bilas also are part of the cast.

Debutants Sharath and Anand are writing the script for the film. Sharan Velayudhan is the cinematographer for the film, and the editing is done by Sooraj ES. Ajayan Mangad is the art director and the costumes are designed by Jishad. Ronex Xavier is the makeup artist for the film.
