Director Jis Joy has revealed the title of his latest venture, 'Thalavan,' featuring talented performers Biju Menon and Asif Ali. The motion poster, released recently, showcased both actors donning police uniforms, teasing audiences with a glimpse into this mass investigative thriller set against the backdrop of rural Malabar. Debutants Anand Thevarkatt and Sharath Perumbavoor have penned the script for this promising cinematic journey.

Joining the stellar cast of 'Thalavan' are Anusree, Miya, Dileesh Pothan, and Kottayam Nazeer, adding depth to the ensemble. The film's creative team boasts Deepak Dev as the composer, while Sharan Velayudhan and Sooraj ES take charge of cinematography and editing.
This marks Jis Joy's fourth collaboration with Asif Ali, following the success of 'Bicycle Thieves,' 'Sunday Holiday,' 'Vijay Superum Pournamiyum,' and 'Innale Vare.' Similarly, Asif has a history of successful partnerships with Biju Menon, having delivered memorable films like 'Ordinary,' 'Pakida,' 'Hi I'm Tony,' 'Vellimoonga,' and 'Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.'
Amidst the film's anticipation, Asif Ali is on a three-month hiatus following an injury sustained during the filming of 'Tiki Taka,' helmed by director Rohit VS.
Meanwhile, Biju Menon, who was previously seen in the superhit thriller ‘Garudan’ has wrapped up shooting for debutant Riyas Shereef's 'Thundu.' Additionally, he's slated to appear in Vishnu Narayan's 'Nadanna Sambhavam' and Vishnu Mohan's 'Kadha Innuvare’.
