,’ also shared his thoughts on the same through his online social media page, recently.

Jis said in the video, “I stay quite close to the flyover that is being demolished, and can also hear the sound of the same from my place. Meanwhile, what do you think of the co-incidence that the film ‘Panchavadi Paalam’ was released decades ago on a September 28, and the Palarivattom flyover also started with its demolition on this date? I am posting such a video for the first time. It’s time that we react to this, especially when something of this sort happens quite near to us. Here’s a question to our leaders, nobody forced you to come into social service, right? Why can’t you please do it, sincerely then? I know my comment might be like a lone fire cracker amid all the noice, but as a citizen, I feel at least this should be said. In your old age, won’t your conscience ask you what you did for this place, with all the power you had?”

The flyover, commissioned in 2016, was closed last year after nearly 2,000 cracks were found on its girders and pier caps. Meanwhile, the film ‘Panchavadi Paalam’ is still considered one of the finest political satires ever made in Malayalam film industry on a similar theme. It was directed by filmmaker K G George.
