Jibu Jacob's Koodevidey is a short filled with bittersweet moments

has not meant a lockdown on creativity for the Malayalam film industry. Director-cinematographer Jibu Jacob has marked the launch of his

production company

with a touching

short film

titled

Koodevidey

. “This film looks at the values that we lost amid our busy lives,” says the director in a note on social media.

The short, with story by Sivaprasad and written by Sinto Sunny, was launched on social media by Mammootty. The camera is by Mujeeb and editing is by Jiju Poovanchira. The film, a bittersweet story of longing and lost times, weaves in the lockdown and how it has given us the time to introspect and reflect on our lives.
